Apral has been working in childcare for more than 20 years. When asked why she chose childcare as a career she said, “ I love children! It feels good knowing that I made an early impact on their lives.”

When Apral is not caring for children, she loves spending time with her family and taking mini vacation. She also loves photography and crafting.

Apral brings a perspective of the needs and challenges young children and their families may face. She chose to further her education by earning her Bachelor of Professional Studies in Early Childhood. Her gift not only allows her to have impact on children but to also develop others that share her passion.

Apral’s favorite scripture is.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God

Greetings! My name is Ilyana Collins, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. I am a Senior at the illustrious University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, majoring in Chemistry. I was taught that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” . I have learned it is always better to give than to receive, which is why I enjoy serving my community. A quote I live by is “Never let anyone dim the light that shines from within” -Maya Angelou
