Greetings! My name is Ilyana Collins, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. I am a Senior at the illustrious University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, majoring in Chemistry. I was taught that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” . I have learned it is always better to give than to receive, which is why I enjoy serving my community. A quote I live by is “Never let anyone dim the light that shines from within” -Maya Angelou

A 2022 graduate of Mills University Studies High School at just 16 years old, she has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and leadership. She completed Manicure School and is currently a rising scholar at University of Arkansas at Little Rock, majoring in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. A 2026 Chancellor’s List honoree with a 4.0 GPA, she aspires to become a Pediatric Registered Nurse.

She served as a Student Ambassador throughout high school and now continues her leadership as a Student Board Member. Passionate about physical and mental health, she promotes healthy living and works to remove the stigmas surrounding mental health. She is also the founder of “Making Things Better…Period,” an initiative dedicated to addressing period poverty in schools, shelters, and the unsheltered community.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, writing, and actively serving in the Young Adult Ministry at her local church.
